To Remove the Lid from the Base
1. Open the latches.
2. Remove the lid from the base.
To Secure the Lid to the Base
1. Put the lid on the base and close both of the latches.
2. Verify that the latches are closed and the lid is securely attached to the
base.

and dry before loading the instruments into the sterilization tray. See
the instructions for use supplied with the surgical instruments for
instrument cleaning recommendations.

protect the plug during sterilization. See the instructions for use supplied
with the handpiece.
• DO NOT drop the handpiece during preparation for sterilization.
• DO NOT strike the handpiece against a metal or surgical object during
preparation for sterilization.
