Troubleshooting Tips

If you notice a problem with the washer, please read this table that lists problems and
verifications. You could save time and money by not calling for service.
Problem
No water flows in
No wash action
Abnormal drain-
ing
Abnormal spin
NOTE: If the load is piled up at one side of the tub during the spin portion of a cycle, this
will cause an unbalance resulting in the tub knocking against the washer frame.
At this moment, the computer will automatically try to correct this situation by filling the
tub with water. However, if this abnormal condition is not corrected after three correc-
tion attempts, then the user will have to manually redistribute the load inside the washer
tub.

Check
• Power is off, a fuse is burned out or the circuit breaker is tripped.
• Water supply valve is closed or the water pressure is too low.
• The inlet hose is not properly connected or the water tap is closed.
• The filter mesh of the inlet valve is blocked by debris.
• The electric coil of the inlet valve is damaged. A slight electromag-
netic sound is normal when the inlet valve is switched on.
• Make sure the START/PAUSE pad is pressed after the power pad.
• Power is off, a fuse is burned out or a circuit breaker tripped.
• The power supply voltage is too low.
• The water level does not reach the selected water level. The washer
will not work if the water does not reach the required water level.
• The DELAY START feature is active. The washer will start until the
delayed time is reached.
• The water drain hose is placed too high (on drain pump models).
• The end of the drain hose is submerged in water.
• The internal rubber ring of the drain valve is blocked by debris.
• The washer lid is not closed.
• The load is piled up in one side of tub or the load is too large.
• The washer is not level. The floor has an inclination or is not flat.
• The motor belt is loosen.
