Operating principle

The JBL CristalProfi greenline Filter cleans the aquarium water in a closed circuit. A mainte-
nance-free pump built into the filter head ensures permanent water circulation. The water is
fed from the aquarium into the filter canister, where it flows through the filter material from
the bottom to the top and is cleaned, before being pumped back into the aquarium. The fil-
ter is NOT self priming. The air initially contained in the system must be eliminated before
starting up. This can be done by selecting the built-in fast start option.

The JBL CristalProfi greenline range uses up to 43 % (depending on model) less
power than previous comparable models.

High capacity, quiet
New motor technology delivers the same effective water circulation in your aquar-
ium as previous models. Optimised pump rotor with ceramic bearings ensures
very quiet running and long service life.

Seldom needs cleaning
Immediately below the pump head is an innovative, patented [EP 1832164] combi-
filter material basket containing pre-filter materials on the right and left, which are
very easily accessible. The remaining filter material seldom needs cleaning, provid-
ing the pre-filter material is replaced regularly.

Complete with high-capacity JBL MicroMec bio filter balls
The round shape and varying diameter of the balls produces a self-cleaning effect,
with the result that this filter material only needs cleaning at long intervals. When
used in conjunction with the easily cleaned pre-filter, the main filter material can
be used for up to a year.

Simple to start, safe to use
The built-in fast start option makes starting the filter child's play, without the need
to start the siphon manually.
The filters are supplied ready to use and are fitted with filter materials. The filter
materials have been selected to ensure that the water is cleaned efficiently both
mechanically and biologically, guaranteeing clear, healthy water for your aquari-
um.
All the parts of the filter are easy to fit and designed in such a way that incorrect
fitting is impossible.
