5 Getting started

5.1 Installing the SeecodeWheel

In this chapter you will receive important tips to get started
using the unit.
Please follow these tips to avoid dangers and damages.
The SeecodeWheel must be mounted in such a way that you
still have clear sight of your speedometer.
The SeecodeWheel can be mounted in the upper or lower part
of the steering wheel therefore the display can be inverted in
the menu of he unit.
Before you install the SeecodeWheel :
► Turn off the engine of your car.
► The steering wheel lock must be open.
► Fasten the handbrake.
• Take all accessories out of the packing.
• Line up your steering wheel.
• Loosen the screw at the bottom of the unit with the
screwdriver until you can slip the clamp on your steering
wheel from its backside.
• Position the unit in the correct position, then tighten the
clamp by turning the screw carefully clockwise.
Don't over tighten the screw, this may break the clamp, which
will not be covered by the warranty!
• Cover the screw with the provided screw cap
The wide angle lens provided with the unit allow the sight at
your speedometer when it will normally be blocked and can be
mounted optionally.
• Put the lens in the holder and then put the holder with the
lens at the backside of the unit. The two claps must latch in
the cavities near the loudspeakers.
