Do not recharge a fully charged battery pack!
Overcharging damages and shortens the
lifespan of the battery pack!
Only use the charger indoors.
Protect the charger from
moisture.
Keep children away from the battery charger
and the working area!
Keep your battery charger out of reach of
children!
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the tool.
Pull out the mains plug immediately if the
battery charger starts to smoke or flames
emerge!
Do not insert objects into the ventilation slots
on the battery charger – there is a danger of
electric shocks and short circuits!
Never use faulty or deformed battery packs!
Never attempt to charge the
battery pack with two
chargers simultaneously.

1 Operation display

Initial Operation

Before plugging in, check to see that
the rated mains voltage and mains
frequency, as stated on the rating
label, match with your power supply.
Minimum distance to other objects
is 5 cm!

7 Use

7.1

Charging battery pack

The operation display (1) flashes
(2 seconds on, 1 second off).
Note: A battery pack that is new or has not
been used for some time only reaches full
capacity after being charged and discharged
several times.
7.2

Conservation charge

The operating display (1) lights up
continuously.
Once the charging process has finished, the
battery charger automatically switches to
conservation mode.
The battery pack can remain in the battery
charger and is therefore always ready for use.

Fault

8.1

Battery pack defective

The operation display (1) flashes quickly
(1/2 second on, 1/2 second off).
Battery pack is defective. Disconnect the
battery pack from the charger immediately.
8.2

Battery pack too warm / too cold

When the battery pack is inserted, the
operation display (1) lights up for approx.
2 1/2 seconds and then turns off.
The battery pack is not being charged. The
temperature is too high or too low. When the
temperature of the battery pack is between
0 °C and 50 °C, the charging process begins
automatically.
