• The electric and magnetic fi elds generated by this electric underblanket might aff ect the functions of pacema-
kers or implantable de brillators. Please consult your physician or the implant's manufacturer before using this
electric underblanket.
• This device is not intended to be used unsupervised by children, individuals with sensory deprivation of any kind
or mentally challenged individuals. Any users falling into these categories should be assisted by a responsible
adult.
• The electric underblanket must not be used by heat-sensitive persons or other vulnerable individual who might
not be able to respond to excessive heating (e.g. also including diabetics, people who suff er from health-related
skin mutations or scarred skin in the application area or who have consumed analgesics or alcohol).
Caution!
• Do not prick in with needles or other sharp objects.
• Do not use or fold blanket if it is warm.
• do not use on heat insensitive persons, children or pets.
• Pregnant women are recommended to consult their physician before using this article.
• Do not place heavy or edged objects on the blanket, which may damage or bend the electrical wires inside the
product (eg. suit cases).
• Keep plug and connecting cable dry at all times.
• The switch will get warm and therefore should not be covered, because of danger of overheating.
• Do not use the blanket, if it self or part are damaged.
• Exclusively use the appliance with the original control unit.
• After use pull plug out off mains plug.
• Do not place other heaters or heat producing objects onto the switched on device.
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorized repair centre to avoid a hazard.
• Examine the appliance frequently. If there is any damage visible, if the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or a qualifi ed person, to avoid a hazard.

3 | Intended use

• This article was designed to warm the neck and shoulder area. It may also be used as a seat cushion.
• It has 4 levels of heat.
• As an added safety measure against overheating it containes a temperature sensetive sensor cable.
• After the control unit for the heat pad is removed, it can be washed up to 30°.
• Two strong magnets sewn into the collar's seem hold the front together.
This item has been controlled in accordance with the relevant European standards and is thus considered
technically safe. Please observe the safety information provided in the operation instructions. This appliance is
not a medical device.

4 | Start-up

If this device is stored near freezing, allow it to acclimate to room temperature before use.

The Back heat pad 1 is placed around the neck.

Plug the controller into the pillow.

Fasten the straps over the stomach so that the article is secure over the back.

Place the unit's mains plug into wall outlet. The Back heat pad is electric and ready for use.
