ASSEMBLY
(drawing 1 & 2)
Assemble the UV-C module in the desired device / machine so that the combination meets the standards
as defined in NEN-EN-IEC 60335-2-109:2010, EN-EN-IEC 60335-2-109:2010/A1:2018 and NEN-EN-IEC 0335-2-
109:2010/A2:2018.
1. Drill a hole with a diameter of 48 mm in the wall (maximum 20 mm) at the desired location. After
commissioning the lamp, ensure that the location of assembly is always at least 5 cm below
the water surface. Choose the location so that the glass and the lamp can be taken out for service and
maintenance.
2. Mount the electrical part (E) in a dry place, close to the module, and protected from direct sunlight.
Take the length of the cables into account.
3. Place the flat gasket (P) over the thread of the transit module (U).
4. Place the feed module (U) through the wall from the dry side.
5. Turn the nut (N) over the feed module (U) from the wet side, and tighten this hand.
6. Place the quartz glass (M) with the o-rings (J) in the feed module (U).
7.
Insert the lamp (K) into the quartz glass (M)
8. Insert the lamp (K) into the fitting (L)
9. Hand tighten the nut (N) of the fitting holder to the feed module (U).
10. Fill the system and test the connections for water tightness.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE LED HOUR METER
When the UV-C device is switched on, the program performs a self-diagnostic test. The LED flashes red
quickly for about one second. Then the LED lights green, flashes green or lights red. This depends on the
number of hours that the system has already been in operation.
When the UV-C lamp is switched on for the first time, or after the 'reset' function is used, the value will be
12.000 hours. The number of hours is based on the lamp in your device. Each UV-C lamp has a maximum
number of operating hours, during which the lamp provides optimum disinfection. After this number of
hours the lamp must be replaced. When the system is switched off, or after a power failure, the system will
remember the remaining number of hours. When it is switched on again the system will continue counting
from where it left off.
HOUR METER STATUS (SIGNAL)
Lit green: the UV-C lamp is operating within its normal service life.
Flashing green: the UV-C lamp will need to be replaced within 500 more hours.
Lit red: the UV-C lamp should be replaced as soon as possible.
