Remove shoulder screw and nut from each leg. Discard screws,
and retain nuts for use in step 5.

Insert new shoulder screw (5a) and tap all the way in with mallet.
Secure nut (5b) to shoulder screw and torque screw to 150±5 in-lbs.
NOTE: New shoulder screw is slightly longer than the old one. See
illustration below for actual dimensions.
NOTE: When securing nut, be careful not to put pressure on the control
lever cable end. Too much pressure could cause cable connector to break.
6.
Verify that plate and control lever are in correct location using
screw locations shown at right.
RISK OF INJURY. The correct location of leg
mounting plates and control levers is critical to
the safe functioning of the table.
