Using on the mains
Plug the power cord into the clip-
per, then into the mains. Push the
on/off button to switch the clipper
on.
USING THE CUTTING GUIDES
AND CUTTING LENGTH ADJUST-
MENT
This clipper comes with 5 cutting
guides: 3/6/9/12/16mm.
The length of cut for each position
is indicated on both sides of the
guide.
Attaching the cutting guides
To attach a cutting guide, grasp
the guide by the sides and hold
it level with the blade. Press the
cutting guide to lock it into the
notches on the sides of the clipper.
The desire cutting length is shown
under the cutting guide's teeth.
Removing the cutting guides
To remove a cutting guide, hold
the clipper facing back side; push
the back of the guide upwards
with the thumb.
Adjusting the blade length
To adjust the cutting length, slide
the adjustment button on the clip-
per's handle to lock into one of the
5 positions.
MAINTENANCE
To maintain optimal performance,
the blades should be cleaned and
oiled regularly. The blades of the
BaByliss PRO clipper are remov-
able for easy cleaning. Set the
blades in the closest cutting posi-
tion. Hold the clipper with blade
frame pointing up and push up to
slide the blade frame out.
Remove hair from the blades us-
ing the cleaning brush. Oiling
the blades occasionally using the
oil provided with the clippers is
recommended. Never use any
other product; the oil provided is
specially formulated for clippers
and won't evaporate or slow the
blades down. After cleaning, re-
place the blade frame.
