8 Maintenance
Before removing the centrifuge cover to handle inside, discon-
nect it from the mains.
Manipulation of internal electronic circuits of the centrifuge
by unauthorized personnel could cause irreparable damages.
Take the equipment to one of J.P. SELECTA's technical service.
Please check on a monthly basis the fixing of the swing-out
rotor. For inspection, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the protective cover of the rotor.
2. Using the Allen key supplied, loosen the screws (see picture).
3. Using the spanner provided, check the tightening of the nut
by pressing in the clockwise direction (see picture).
4. Periodically check the rotor and the buckets status in order to
detect possible signs of corrosion or mechanical deformations.

8.2 Software maintenance
Software maintenance functions.
• Insert new rotors or accessories.
• Update Firmware.
• Initialize rotors and buckets service life.
• Calibration and logging programs.
• Add programs for specific treatments.
These functions are only available under the supervision of
the technical service.

That the screws of the machine continue very tighten.
Deformations and visible fractures.
Side walls.
Cover gasket status.
Continuity of earth connection.
Levelling: legs are not loosening.
