– If the product is not used for a long period check if it is functioning correctly before using on a patient.
– To avoid clinical downtime it is recommended to keep a spare on hand in case of a breakdown during surgery.
– 20:1 contra-angle always operate with water, spray failure may results in overheating.
– Do not operate the contra-angle without the bur/drill.
– Do not connect or disconnect the handpiece until the motor has completely stopped.
– Do not immerse the contra-angle in any chemical solvent or solution or make dry-heat disinfection. Sterilization
by autoclave, for 18 minutes at 134 °C.

3. Connecting/Disconnecting Motor
3.1 Connecting
ATTENTION
When using geared contra-angle, be sure to connect a motor that meets TYPE3 or TYPE4 in accordance with
ISO3964:2016(E). Otherwise, the parts may be lost because the contra-angle cannot be reliably locked. This may
cause serious accidents such as injury to the patient or the operator.
1) Insert the contra-angle directly into the motor (Fig. 1).
2) Align the contra-angle and motor alignment pin (Fig. 2).
3) Confi rm that the contra-angle is securely connected to the motor.
