HOW TO OPERATE
- Cut cheese into cubes, remove the crust and insert it into the hopper unit (I).
- Plug the appliance in and switch it on by means of the ON/OFF knob (C) (Fig. 7).
- Lower the lever (H) by means of the appropriate handle (G) and press it against cheese (Fig. 8)
to start the motor and grate.
- To interrupt functioning, raise the lever (H); the appliance remains enabled for use until the OFF
switch is operated (C).
- After use, switch the appliance off by means of the OFF knob (C) and unplug it.
- Take the container (A) out and serve it directly at your table or close it with the appropriate lid (B)
to store in fridge.
- Before grating chocolate, keep it in the fridge for an hour at least, to avoid it melts during process-
ing, sticking to the roller. Always use chocolate cubes large enough to prevent them from sticking
between the hopper unit (I) and the roller for grating (L).
ATTENTION:
The appliance does not start when the lever (H) is raised and the container (A) is not inserted
or inserted improperly. In case of malfunctioning, make sure the container (A) is properly
inserted into the appropriate slots.
Do not use soft cheese to prevent it from getting stuck in the roller!
To prevent the appliance from overheating, respect the maximum continuous time of 5 min-
utes and make sure it has cooled down before restarting it again.
To prevent personal injuries and appliance damages, always keep hands and kitchenware
out of moving parts.
Make sure the hopper is properly inserted on the motor body. Otherwise, the cheese tray may
vibrate during use.
To avoid the inconvenience, make sure the hopper is properly rotated until it is completely
positioned in its housing.
