■ Close the vacuum inlet cover securely. Make sure the
metal contact on the inlet cover is inserted into the
positive switch.
OPERATION
NOTE: The unit has positive switches at the blowing and
vacuuming opening sides. The unit will only run if both
the metal contacts are inserted into the positive switches.
When running the unit in blower mode (Fig. 8), the metal
contact on the blower tube and inlet cover must be inserted
into their respective positive switches. When running the
unit in vacuum mode (Fig. 11), the metal contact on the
adapter tube and the vacuum tube must be inserted into
their respective positive switches.
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with this product to make
you careless. Remember that a careless fraction
of a second is suffi cient to infl ict serious injury.

Do not operate the machine near open windows.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields
marked to comply with EN 166, along with
hearing protection. Failure to do so could result
in objects being thrown into your eyes and other
possible serious injuries.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
■ Clearing leaves and other debris from your lawn.
■ Keeping decks and driveways free from leaves and
pine needles.
■ Vacuuming leaves from your lawn.
MIXING THE FUEL
This product is powered by a 2-cycle engine and requires
premixing petrol and 2-cycle oil. The mixture should be at
a 50:1 ratio.
NOTE: Mix 2% lubricant into the petrol. Use synthetic
2-stroke lubricant only.
■ Use a clean container that is approved for use with
petrol.
■ Mix the 2-cycle engine oil with unleaded petrol in the
container according to the instructions on the oil pack-
age.
NOTE: This engine is certifi ed to operate on unleaded
petrol intended for automotive use with an octane rating
of 91 [(R + M) / 2] or higher. Do not use automotive oil or
2-cycle outboard oil.
NOTE: Most fuel mixture will stay fresh up to 30 days. DO
NOT mix quantities larger than usable in a 30 day period.

FILLING THE TANK
■ Clean the surface around the fuel cap to prevent con-

referred to as E15) are acceptable.
Do not use E85 fuel. It will void your warranty.
