Trouble Shooting

Problem
The motor stops directly after
starting.
Fan runs but no suction.
Fan runs but poor suction.
Machine blows dust.
Abnormal sound from
machine.

Fault
Incorrect fuse.
Overheating protection has
tripped.
Hose not connected.
Hose plugged.
The container is not installed
properly.
Hole in the hose.
Plugged fi lter.
Hose too long or too small.
Hose is kinked.
Machine top is mounted incor-
rectly.
Dust is packed in the cyclone.
Filter is perforated or has come
loose.

Solution
Change to correct circuit.
Investigate why the motor
has overloaded and rectify
the cause. Make sure that the
machine has warmed up by
waiting for 5 minutes. Restart
the motor by fi rst turning the
switch to the "O" position and
then turning it back to the
start position.
Connect the hose.
Remove block.
Install container.
Change or repair hose.
Clean or change fi lter.
Change the hose.
Check and free.
Adjust the mounting.
Take off the top and clean out.
Check the fi lters and change if
necessary.
