T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. From the rear of the vehicle, open the rear window glass
and tailgate. Locate and remove the
tail light mounting screws using a
T-20 Torx driver (Fig 1).
3. Carefully pry the tail light
assemblies away from the vehicle
to expose the wiring harness
behind. Caution: Take care not to damage the tail
light housing alignment tabs.
4. Beginning on the left (drivers) side, remove the black tail
light wire harness connector from the tail light assembly by
sliding the red locking tab to its unlocked position and
carefully pulling the connector away from the housing.
5. Position the matching T-Connector harness ends with the
yellow wire between the separated connector and housing and
secure by sliding the red locking tabs back to their locked
position.
6. Locate a clean accessible mounting location on the
vehicle near the wiring harness ends within reach of the white
wire and grounding eyelet and drill a 7/64" hole.
Caution: Take care not to drill through the body or
any exposed surface.
7. Mount the White wire using the ground screw and eyelet
