These passenger cars can also be equipped with the
following accessories:
• 73150 Interior lightning
• The current-conducting couppler from the 73150
lightning kit can only be used when a wire is soldered
between the contact plate for the coupler and the cir-
cuit board for the lightning. We therefore recommend
that you hve this conversion done by an authorized
Märklin service station.
Important: Never use super glue when gluing seated fi-
gures made by accessory manufacturers into these cars.
The solvent emitted by the glue can affect the surface of
the window inserts and fog them up.
This cab control car can be equipped with the 73150
lighting kit. Please note the following changes in the
installation instructions for the 73150 lighting kit for
these cars:
• Only the one corridor connection at the end of the car
is removed to remove the car body (73150 – page 2).
• The electronic circuit board does not need to be
removed; it should remained mounted in the car.
• The trucks, pickup shoe and ground spring contacts
should remained mounted in place (73150 – page 3, 6, 7).
• The two-conductor wire in the car is separated at the
plug contact.
• The two-pole plug is plugged in at one end of the
lighting circuit board (73150 – page 9).
• The two pole socket is plugged into the other end of
the lighting circuit board with the intermediate plug
behind the engineer's cab in the car (73150 – page 9).
• The contact strip on the ends of the lighting circuit
board is not mounted in the car (73150 – page 10).
