Naturally, the helmet can be further
adjusted during operations to the
prevailing conditions, taking into
account all safety regulations.
4.2 Adjustment of the wearing height
Setting takes place using two sliders with ten locking points on the headband,
which are located on the left and right at the rear of the interior harness.
Setting should take place in such a way that the eyes are positioned in line with
the middle of the visor.
The correct setting, roughly with eye level
situated in thge middle of the visor.
The sliders are also used to regulate the
distance between the visor and the nose.
If the slider is moved inwards towards the
helmet shell, this creates a bigger gap
between the nose and the visor, while the
reverse procedure reduces this distance.
Before the slider is employed, the helmet strap should be set as "minimum" in
order to make access easier.
WARNING: When adjusting the sliders, attention should be paid to the
audible locking of the slider following setting, in order that the safety
function of the interior harness is guaranteed.

4.3 Basic setting of the headband
Apart from the adjustment of the wearing
height of the head net, there are a number
of fitting possibilities using the headband.
The height of the headband can be set in
three positions.
The easiest way is to set the hat size
setting to the minimum size.

Subsequently, the shaft of the size adjustment
mechanism must be removed from the setting
screw.
Then the four straps linking the headband
with the helmet strap must be loosened.
The complete headband can then be
removed from the helmet by turning it 90°.
The pin in the forehead area can then be
positioned to the appropriate height
(three possible settings). Subsequently,
the headband can be reinserted using
the aforementioned process in reverse
(turn 90°, secure the linking straps,
press the shaft into the setting screw).
WARNING: When adjusting the pin in
the forehead area, ensure that it sits
properly before turning it 90°, as this
will reliably prevent damage.
