INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before each use, the accessories must be carefully inspected to ensure the absence of dust, incrustation, clots or liq-
uid substances both inside the connecting tubing and in the canister and its respective lid. Furthermore, they must be
cleaned following the instructions rigorously as stated in the "CLEANING, SANITISATION, DISINFECTION, STERILISATION"
paragraph. We recommend personal use of the accessories, the collection canisters and the connecting tubing to pre-
vent risk of contagious infection.
Instructions for suction on the patient:
1. Connect the accessories, referring to the "CONNECTION DIAGRAM" on the cover.
ATTENTION: in addition to being antibacterial/antiviral, the hydrophobic filter also acts as secondary line of safety and
stops any fluids that the primary safety device in the canister lid accidentally does not stop.
Follow the directions below for proper assembly:

2. Plug the supply cable (17) into a power socket matching the device's voltage specifications. After using the device
unplug it, the socket must be placed so as to allow for convenient disconnection from the power mains.
3. Switch on the device using the on/off switch (2), keeping in mind that the device is intended to be used on a horizon-
tal surface in order for the safety device (10) to function correctly and prevent liquids from entering the suction pump.
The device must be kept away from walls to allow for adequate engine cooling.
4. For more comfortable aspiration, set the desired vacuum value (bar) using the vacuum adjustment knob(4). Vacuum
value is increased by turning the knob clockwise and decreased by turning the knob counter-clockwise; these values
can be read on the "vacuum gauge" (3). To accelerate aspiration and simplify cleaning, we recommend putting ap-
proximately 400 ml of water in the canister (16).
5. Place your finger on the manual vacuum flow control (15) and, activating it in pulses, begin suction on the patient
using the aspirator tip.
6. Once the process is complete, switch off the device.
7. Remove the plug, then empty and clean the canister and connecting tubing.
