Now your ELC-Z is fully synchronised with
ElitBox permitted channels and power level.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

It is recommended to lubricate the clutch and the
gearbox every 500,000 cycles (Molykote BR2+).
ELC tools only
● Perform the maintenance of the
clutch every 500,000 cycles.
● Contact your local Desoutter
representative for the maintenance
procedure.

ERROR CODES

Error
4 red flashing lights
5 red flashing lights
6 red flashing lights
7 red flashing lights
8 red flashing lights
At start-up, after
switch-off the white
LED, the LED flashes
3 times (red color)
(1 flash/second).
Description
Clutch sensor error. The
tool does not start or stops
instantaneously.
Exceeding of the maximum
temperature (70°C). The
tool does not start or stops
instantaneously.
Tool overheating. The tool
does not start or stops
instantaneously.
Battery voltage fault. The
tool does not start or stops
instantaneously.
Overcurrent on the power
circuit. The hardware limit
has been reached. The
tool does not start or stops
instantaneously.
Backup configuration has
been restored.
Validation / Action
The signal given by the clutch sensor is out of
tolerances. Check the sensor and the magnets
joined to the sensor. Check the flex is correctly
connected to the electronic board. If the fault still
appears, contact our customer service.
The temperature measured with the electronic
board is higher than 70°C. Wait for the tool
cool down. The tool can tighten again when
the temperature is lower than approximately
70°C. Decrease the tool rate. If the temperature
is lower than 70°C and the fault still appears,
contact our customer service.
The power requested is too big. Do not use
the tool as a drilling machine. If the fault still
appears, contact our customer service.
The fault means that the battery voltage is not
appropriate for the voltage announced in the
tool. Make sure that the tool is adapted for the
battery used. If the battery used is correct→
contact our customer service.
This problem can result from a use requiring
a too big power for the tool. If the fault still
appears, the power stage is faulty → contact our
customer service.
The user is not affected by this issue.
The tool can be used without restriction.
This error appears if the backup configuration
has been restored after corruption.
