Food with strong odors is in
refrigerator.

Door was closed too hard,
causing other door to open

Refrigerator is not level. It
rocks on the floor when moved

Refrigerator is touching a wall
or cabinet.

Food is touching shelf on top
of drawer.

Track that drawers slide on is
dirty.

Light bulb is burned out.

No electric current is reaching
refrigerator.

CORRECTION
•
Open household water line valve. See PROBLEM

Ensure that freezer door is closed.
•
Replace filter cartridge.
•
Draw and discard 10 – 12 glasses of water to freshen
the supply and completely rinse out the tank.
•
Connect unit to cold water line that supplies water to
the kitchen faucet.
•
For best results, use copper tubing for water
connections.
•
Contact water treatment plant for help.
•
Have someone turn up the cut-off and cut-on pressure
on the water pump system (well systems only).
•
It is normal for a reverse osmosis system to be below
20 psi during the regenerative phase.
•

Cover food tightly.

Close both doors gently.

Ensure floor is level and solid, and can adequately
support the refrigerator. Contact a carpenter to correct
a sagging or sloping floor.
