S3: Half Strobe
Tune your instrument so that the LED meter
illumination stops flowing. The strobe illumina-
tion will appear in the right side of the LED
meter if your instrument is sharp, and in the left
side if your instrument is flat. When your
instrument is tuned correctly, only the center
LED will be lit. The pitch guide LEDs indicate
whether your instrument is sharp or flat. The w
LED will light if your instrument is sharp, and
the s LED will light if your instrument is flat.
S4: Mirror
Tune your instrument so that the two
illuminated LEDs in the left and right side of
the LED meter coincide in the center. The
farther your instrument is from the correct
pitch, the farther apart the illuminated LEDs
will be. The pitch guide w LED will light if
your instrument is sharp, and the s LED will
light if your instrument is flat.
