Safety
• The roller blind is to be installed more than 8 feet (2.44 m) above the floor.
• The roller blind is intended for use by persons with the relative experience and
knowledge or persons who have been given instruction concerning its use by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the control for
the roller blind. It should be fitted out of reach of children at a minimum height of
4 feet (1.2 m).
• The roller blind must not be put into operation until it has been fitted according to
these instructions.
• Before operating, ensure that the roller blind can be operated without risk of dam-
age to property or injury to people or animals.
• Disconnect mains supply before carrying out any maintenance or service work and
ensure that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally.
• Do not operate the roller blind if repair or adjustment is required.
• The product has a Class 2 Low Voltage input (19-24 V d.c.).
• The term "IC:" before the device certification number only signifies that the Indus-
try Canada technical specifications were met.
Product
• The roller blind has been designed for use with genuine VELUX products. The
connection to other products may cause damage or malfunction.
• Sound pressure level: LpA ≤ 70 dB(A).
• Electrical products must be disposed of in conformity with all local codes, ordi-
nances, rules and regulations for electronic waste and not with household waste.
• The packaging can be disposed of with usual household waste.
• To remove the roller blind, please contact your VELUX sales company.

NOTE: The motor must be adjusted to the size of the window before full operation
of the roller blind begins. The adjustment will take place automatically the first
time the roller blind is operated. Before the roller blind runs to the desired position,
it runs all the way up and down. Do not interrupt the adjustment!
Where roller blinds are fully opened, pressing the UP function on your control unit
a minimum of 5 times for at least one second at a time, will activate a new adjust-
ment when pressing DOWN on your control unit afterwards.
Maintenance
• The roller blind requires a minimal amount of maintenance. It may be cleaned
with a soft, damp cloth.
