IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
• Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table or work surface.
• Before connection to power supply there must be water at least of the recommended minimum level in the kettle.
• After use disconnect the cable from the socket.
• Never submerge the kettle in water or other liquids (not even partially).
• The kettle is designed to heat water up to recommended volume – a higher volume may cause splashing of hot
water and scalding!
• Before switching on the heating make sure the lid is properly closed. Do not open the lid during heating,
to prevent scalding.
• We don't recommend using the kettle for heating other liquids than water.
• Always place the kettle on a solid and even surface.
• Do not put the kettle on hot surfaces.
• The kettle can't be used close to sources of heat, or in a damp environment.
• Never switch the on kettle unless it contains at least the recommended volume of water, otherwise you risk damaging
it. If an open kettle is switched on anyway, immediately disconnect it from power supply, and let it cool down for at
least 5 minutes.
• Be careful when opening the lid if you repeatedly fill a hot kettle with water.
• Take precautions to avoid scalding with hot water while handling the kettle. Always hold the kettle by its handle, as
the vessel can be hot and may burn you.
• Pour the hot water slowly – excessive tilting may cause the water to flow through the lid – risk of scalding!
• Do not let children or unqualified people handle the appliance.
• When handling the appliance keep out of the reach of children. There is a risk of scalding.
• Before cleaning unplug the supply cable and make sure the kettle has cooled down.
• Clean the kettle with a wet cloth only.
• Prior to first use we recommend boiling the maximum volume of water in the kettle at least 3 times, and pouring it
out. Only then is the kettle ready for use.
• The kettle should be used only with the supplied accessories.
• The product is designed for private purposes, not for professional use.
• Any maintenance or repairs requiring intervention into the electric components of the product shall be performed
only by an authorized service.
Failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions may cause refusal of warranty repair.
