IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• The mains voltage shall correspond to the ratings stated on the nameplate of the product.
• Before inserting the plug into the mains outlet unwind the necessary length of the power cord from the kettle base.
The cord should not be under tension.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or working board.
• Pour water into the kettle before connecting it to the mains.
• Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet after using the product.
• Never immerse the kettle or base into water or any other liquid (not even partially).
• The kettle may be used for heating water up to the maximum indicated level. If the water exceeds the recommended
maximum level, hot water may splash out. SCALDING HAZARD!
• Make sure the lid is closed properly before activating the heating. Do not open the lid during the heating to avoid
scalding.
• Using the kettle to heat any liquids besides water is not recommended.
• Always put the kettle on a flat, solid surface.
• Do not put the kettle on hot surfaces.
• The kettle may not be used near heat sources.
• Do not use the kettle without water. If an empty kettle is turned on, the safety fuse will deactivate it automatically. Let
the kettle cool and fill it with cold water. You may now continue using the kettle.
• Extra care shall be taken while opening the lid when refilling a hot kettle with water.
• Take precautions to avoid scalding with hot water while handling the kettle. Always hold the kettle handle. The kettle
body may reach a high temperature and scalding might occur.
• Pour the water from the kettle slowly. If the kettle is tipped too far water may flow through the lid. SCALDING
HAZARD!
• Do not let children or unqualified people handle the kettle.
• Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet before cleaning and make sure that the kettle has cooled down.
• The kettle can only be cleaned with a wet cloth.
• Do not wash the removable base under running water.
• If water penetrates the base, the base shall be unplugged from the mains first. You may resume using the product
after the base dries completely.
• Before the first use we recommend boiling a full volume of water in the kettle at least three times and pouring the
water out. The kettle is then ready for operation.
• The kettle may only be used with the delivered base.
• The product is not designed for professional use.
• Do not put the kettle on hot surfaces. Any maintenance and repairs requiring intervention into the electric components
of the product shall only be performed by an authorized service.
• Use genuine accessories only to avoid injury or damage to the product. Warranty claims will not be admitted if the
manufacturer's instructions are not followed.
Non-compliance with the manufacturer's instructions invalidates your right to guaranty repair.
