Problem
Pump is running, but does not de-
liver.
Pump doesn't start or suddenly
stops during operation.
Pump runs, but output suddenly
decreases.
Repairs
Note:
For any other malfunctions please contact the GARDENA
service department. Repairs must only be done by
GARDENA service departments or specialist dealers
approved by GARDENA.

Troubleshooting
Possible Cause
Air cannot escape as pressure line is
closed (e.g. kinked pressure hose).
Air locks in the suction base.
Feed impeller is clogged.
Water height falls below the minimum
water level.
Thermal overload switch has switched
the pump off due to overheating.
No power.
Dirt particles are jammed in the sucti-
on base.
Suction base is clogged.
Remedy
Open the pressure line.
Wait for max. 60 sec. until the pump
deaerates automatically over the vent
valve. If necessary, switch off and start
it again.
Clean the feed impeller (see Mainte-
nance).
Submerge the pump deeper into the
water.
Clean the feed impeller (see Mainte-
nance).
Observe the maximum water tempera-
ture of 35 °C.
Check fuse and electrical plug and so-
cket connections.
Clean the suction base (see Mainte-
nance).
Clean the suction base (see Mainte-
nance).
