Disconnect electrical power cord from outlet before
performing any maintenance or repairs on this Con-
troller.
Do not attempt to repair this Controller unless you are
a qualified electrician.
DISASSEMBLY
Cover
1.
Remove Torque Knob (21) by using miniature
screwdriver to loosen slotted setscrew in the side of
the knob.
2.
Using small Phillips screwdriver, remove the four
Cover Screws (6H).
3.
Remove Cover (1A) by using thin blade screwdriver
to pry back of Cover away from locking tabs on back
of Chassis Assembly (6A). See below.
4.
Lift Cover from Chassis Assembly (6A).
DISASSEMBLY OF COVER
Control Base
1.
Unsolder and remove wires from Control Base.
IMPORTANT: NOTE THE LOCATION AND
COLORS OF WIRES FOR REASSEMBLY
PURPOSES.
2.
Remove two Control Base Screws (2J), two Suppres-
sor Screws (2L) and two Suppressor Spacers (2G).
Lift Suppressor (2F) from Control Base.
Power Switch
1.
Remove Power Switch Screw Nuts, Power Switch
Screw Washers, and Power Switch Screws (2K) and
unsolder post of Power Switch (2B) from Control
Base.
2.
Lift Power Switch from Control Base Switch Plate
(2A), remove shrink wrap tubing and unsolder wires
from Power Switch.

MAINTENANCE SECTION

Forward/Reverse Switch
1.
Using Duratec Solder Sponget* or equivalent, de-
solder Forward/Reverse Switch (2C) from Control
Base and remove Forward/Reverse Switch from Con-
trol Base Switch Plate.
Transformer
1.
Unsolder wires from Transformer (4).
Note the location and colors of wires for
reassembly purposes.
2.
Remove Transformer Screw Nuts (6K) and
Transformer Screw Washers (6J).
3.
Remove green ground wire.
4.
Lift Transformer from Chassis Assembly.
Receptacle
1.
Using small Phillips screwdriver, remove three
Receptacle Screws (5B) form Receptacle (5A),
Spacer (5C) and Chassis Assembly.
2.
Pull Receptacle out of Chassis Assembly, remove
heat shrink tubing, unsolder wires and remove
Receptacle.
Fuse Holder Assembly
1.
Remove heat shrink tubing from two yellow wires
and unsolder wires from Fuse Holder (7A).
IMPORTANT: NOTE WIRE ROUTING
FOR REASSEMBLY PURPOSES.
2.
Loosen and remove locknut from fuse Holder and
remove Fuse Holder from Chassis Assembly.
Cord Assembly
1.
Remove Transformer Screw Nut and Transformer
Screw Washer.
2.
Lift green ground wire from Transformer Screw.
3.
Remove heat shrink tubing from black wire at Sup-
pressor and unsolder black wire.
4.
Unsolder white wire from Transformer.
5.
Using Pincer Insertion Tool or flat blade screwdriver,
remove Cord Stop (6L) form back of Chassis
Assembly. Remove Cord Assembly.
Cord Assembly
1.
Insert Cord Assembly leads through hole in rear of
Chassis Assembly and using Pincer Insertion Tool,
insert Cord Stopper into hole in Chassis Assembly.
2.
Attach green ground wire to Transformer Screw with
Transformer Screw Washer and Transformer Screw
Nut.
3.
Solder white wire to Transformer terminal.
