Maintenance and cleaning
4
At regular intervals (every year), check that the hinges are in
good condition, check that the operator is secure on the
window and check the general state of the window. For
perfect functioning, lubricate the chain with silicon grease
spray. If any parts are worn, change them.
At least every 12 months, test the product to ensure the system is
functioning correctly; for special systems, this should be done at
least every 6 months.
NB: Cleaning and maintenance operations must be carried out by
trained, authorized staff. The device must be in the safe stop
condition, disconnected from all power sources.
Do not perform maintenance and cleaning unless there is adequate
lighting.
All maintenance and cleaning must be performed with the device
stopped and not powered.
Clean the external surfaces of the machine's component equipment
regularly to prevent the accumulation of dust deposits; 5 mm is the
recommended limit. Remember that the maximum permitted dust
layer depends on the device's maximum rated surface temperature,
the type of dust and ambient conditions. The user is responsible for
establishing a maintenance plan including dust removal.
The following personal protection equipment must be worn during
work and maintenance: Protective goggles, gloves.
