• The message "MEMORY
CARD INHIBIT" appears if you
load a write-protected memory
card and attempt to record to it.
In this case, eject the memory
card, clear the write-protect tab,
and load the memory card again.

Select YES to execute the format.
The message "COMPLETE"
appears when the format finishes.
Editing Memory
Card Data
When you record data to a memory
card inserted into the CBK-PC01, data
is stored in the following folder on the
memory card.
\MSSONY\PRO\XDCAM\MEMDI
SC\(ProAV-ID
1) ProAV-ID is an arbitrary 32-character
string that identifies the disc. It is set every
time a disc is formatted by an XDCAM
device. Proxy data is stored in a folder
named with this 32-character string.
To operate on proxy data from PDZ-1
Proxy Browsing Software, select File/
Import/From Memory Card in the
menu, and then specify the memory
card drive.
For details, refer to the online help of
PDZ-1.
Note
Use PDZ-1 to play back proxy data. On
some computers, video and audio may
