INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

®
Your JAQUET DROZ automaton is war-
ranted by Montres Jaquet Droz SA, La Chaux-
de-Fonds/ Switzerland, for a period of twenty-
four (24) months from the date of purchase
under the terms and conditions of this
warranty. The international JAQUET DROZ
warranty covers material and manufacturing
defects existing at the time of delivery of the
purchased JAQUET DROZ automaton ("de-
fects"). The warranty only comes into force
if the warranty certificate is dated, fully and
correctly completed and stamped by Montres
Jaquet Droz SA or its authorized retailer.
During the warranty period and by presenting
the valid warranty certificate, you will have
the right to have any defect repaired free of
charge.
The warranty does not cover :
• normal use and aging (e.g. scratches; altera-
tion of the colour).
• any damage due to magnetic fields, thermal
shocks and direct contact with chemicals
or any damage resulting from incorrect/ab-
normal/abusive use, lack of care, negligence,
accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.), or
non-observance of the use directions pro-
vided by Montres Jaquet Droz SA;
• indirect or consequential damages of any
kind resulting from e.g. the use, the non-
functioning, the defects or the inaccuracy of
the JAQUET DROZ automaton;
• the JAQUET DROZ automaton handled by
non-authorized persons (e.g. for services
or repairs) or whose original condition has
been altered beyond Montres Jaquet Droz
SA's control.
All applicable implied warranties, including the
implied warranty of merchantability and of
fitness for a particular purpose given to you
by law are hereby limited to the duration of
this warranty.
This warranty does not affect any manda-
tory statutory rights you may have against the
seller under local laws.
