Troubleshooting
No power:
Check batteries. Ensure that the
batteries are installed properly. If the
batteries have been inserted longer
time ago, the contacts may be
corroded. Please clean contacts of
battery and radio! T he batteries may
be discharged or too weak, replace
old batteries with three (3) new "AAA"
alkaline batteries or fresh-charged Ni-
MH batteries. Check volume setting:
P ress
to increase VOLUME.
Weak reception:
The receiving signal may be weak
and/or out of range. I f this happens,
press the Menu
3x to reach the
MONITOR mode. If necessary, press
to increase VOLUME.
Range is limited:
Batteries may be weak. Replace with
new batteries if the batteries are
down. You recognize empty batteries
when the display is weak or off during
transmit.
The
maximum
range
will
vary
depending
on
terrain
and
environment. O pen fields provide the
maximum range, while steel/concrete
structures and use in buildings and in
vehicles
may
limit
the
range
