How To Install The Yoke
Don't remove plaster guard(1) at this time.
For 11645M-4, to install shower faucet, apply tape or thread sealant to the threads of the plug(2). Install it
into the yoke with the side having the marking "DOWN".
Rough-in the yoke to be 61mm minimum to 80mm maximum when measured from the centerline of the
yoke to the outside of the finished wall. Install Rc1/2 hot and cold supply tubing(3).
NOTE: Make sure the left supply pipe is the hot supply and connected to the end with red marking.
Install G1/2" pipes(4) and elbow(6) to the bath and shower outlets. Secure the bath and shower pipes to
the support.
Install temporary nipples(5) in the bath and shower elbow. Make sure the length of the nipples in 152mm
atleast.
If install shower faucet, and don't need to install the spout. If the valve units and diverter were removed
for soldering, please reinstall them.
Install caps on bath and shower nipples. Cycle the valve through its hot and cold water range. Inspect for
leaks. Turn the valves off.
How To Install The Handles
Remove and discard the guards after completing the finished wall. Depending on the length of the valve
stem extending beyond the wall, select the spline adapter(9) or stem extension(12).
Press in the selected extension onto the valve stem(8). Put the slip washer(10) onto the yoke(7). Thread the
handle kit(11) to the yoke until the handle contacts the finished wall (Note: The handle with red washer
should be installed on the left when facing the front of the faucet).
The configuration shown is the correct position of the handle in closed position.
How To Install Escutcheon And Diverter Knob
(Only for 11643M-4)
Remove and discard the guards after completing the finished wall.
Apply a ring of plumbers putty around the edge of the escutcheon(13) and slide it on the diverter. Push
the escutcheon against the wall with the screw hole downwards, tighten screw(15) with hex wrench(14) to
secure the escutcheon. Fit the diverter knob(16) onto the diverter spindle, and keep "KOHLER" logo level.
Tighten screw(15) with hex wrench to secure the knob.
Installation

La configuration du mandrin et de la tubulure illustrée est pour la version de baignoire et de douche. In-
staller le cadrage tel que requis.
REMARQUE: Pour 11645M-4
Pour assurer le bon fonctionnement de l'aspirateur, ne pas utiliser le tuyau ou les connecteurs avec un
diamètre intérieur de moins de 12 mm pour connecter le bec et le corps.
Comment Installer Le Mandrin
Ne pas retirer le protège-plâtre(1) à ce point.
Pour le modèle 11645T-4, lors de l'installation du robinet de la douche, appliquer du ruban ou du mastic
pour filets sur les filets du bouchon(2). Installer le robinet dans le mandrin sur le côté portant la mention
"DOWN"(vers le bas).
Raccorder le mandrin pour qu'il soit compris entre 61 et 80 mm maximum lors d'une mesure entre la ligne
centrale du mandrin et l'extérieur du mur fini. Installer la tubulure d'arrivée d'eau chaude et froide Rc
1/2"(3).
REMARQUE: S'assurer que le tuyau d'arrivée gauche est l'arrivée d'eau chaude et qu'il est raccordé sur
l'extrémité avec le repère rouge.
Installer les tuyaux G1/2"(4) et le coude(6) sur les orifices de sortie de la baignoire et de la douche. Fixer les
tuyaux de la baignoire et de la douche sur le support.
Installer les mamelons temporaires(5) dans le coude de la baignoire et de la douche. S'assurer que la lon-
gueur des mamelons est de 152 mm au moins.
