SET QCWS WITH MOTOR
ATTENTION: the QCWSR radio wind sensor has to be combined with a transmitter.
First set a transmitter with the motor then set the transmitter with the QCWSR as
follows:
1. Press and hold simultaneously the transmitter PROG-TX button until the motor starts
moving.
2. Within 8 seconds press at least 2sec the anemometer W button.
WIND SENSOR SENSIBILITY SETTINGS:
1. Press W
2. Leds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 show the actual setting for 8 seconds
3. Press W again and select one of the 5 possible thresholds
ATTENTION: the wind sensor can never be disactivated
Setting Wind speed
Low wind speed
Low/medium wind speed 10 Km/h*
Medium wind speed
Medium/high wind speed 40 Km/h*
High wind speed
THE WIND SENSOR WORKS AS FOLLOWS:
- When the wind speed goes over the threshold for more than 3 seconds the radio
sensor shifts in wind warning mode and commands the motor to "CLOSE".
- During the wind warning mode led 5 blinks and the radio sensor commands every 90
seconds the motor to "CLOSE".
- When the wind speed decreases and remains below the threshold for more than 10
minutes the radio sensor leaves the wind warning mode.
This mode enables the sun sensor to send the "OPEN" command in case light intensity
is over the threshold.
WIND SENSOR OPERATING LED (5):
Led 5 shows the wind sensor status:
LED 5 OFF
LED 5 blinks slowly
LED 5 blinks fast
LED 1 LED 2 LED 3 LED 4 LED 5
