2. Introduction

The Ambu® PEEP 10 valve and Ambu® PEEP 20 valve are suitable for use with:
• Resuscitators
• Ventilators, if specified by the manufacturer.
• CPAP systems, if specified by the manufacturer.
• When used on resuscitators the PEEP valve influences neither the inspiratory O
concentration nor the inspiratory resistance of the system. The PEEP valve can
therefore remain at the patient valve during both spontaneous breathing
and resuscitation.

3. Specifications

The Ambu® PEEP 10 and 20 valves are in conformity with Council Directive 93/42/
EEC concerning Medical Devices.
Adjustment range:
PEEP 10: 0.15-1.0 kPa (1.5-10 cm H
PEEP 20: 0.15-2.0 kPa (1.5-20 cm H
