6.2. Disinfecting
Chemical disinfectant can be used. The supplier's directions should be followed
carefully and the disinfectant must be suitable for the materials (paragraph 3).
6.3. Sterilisation
The parts can be autoclaved at 134 °C (273 °F) after cleaning.
Reassembly
Ensure that the ends of the central spindle of the internal valve assembly are
mounted correctly both in the hole of the inlet connector and in the housing with
the adjustment cap.

It is not possible to obtain correct adjustment of the
required PEEP level.
Leak in the system.
Check all the connections systematically.
Valve noise.
Insufficient damping.
Disassemble the valve, move the valve disc back and
forth in relation to the valve spindle. The valve should
be serviced if this does not help.
