TERMOMETRO DIGITALE
Leggete con cura le istruzioni seguenti prima dell'uso.
Il termometro digitale è un dispositivo per la misurazione della
temperatura corporea, indicato sia per uso ospedaliero che
familiare. Rispetto ai modelli tradizionali in vetro e mercurio, ha i
vantaggi di una semplice lettura, veloce e accurata misurazione,
memorizzazione, allarmi, ecc.
In particolare risulta maggiormente sicuro per la persona e
l'ambiente poichè senza mercurio.
Il termometro è stato calibrato dal fabbricante e non sono
necessarie successive calibrazioni. Per qualsiasi dubbio sulla
precisione dello strumento contattate il Vostro rivenditore.

Utilizzo
- Prima dell'uso disinfettate la sonda o posizionate un coprisonda
sulla punta.
- Premete il pulsante di accensione, avvertirete un bip.
- Dopo il test di controllo iniziale il display visualizza l'ultima
misurazione effettuata per 2 secondi.
- Quando appare sul display "Lo" e inizia a lampeggiare la lettera
°C o °F è possibile iniziare la misurazione.
- Durante la misurazione restate nello stesso luogo/posizione
fino al termine.
- Sul display viene visualizzata in continuo la temperatura
misurata.
- La misurazione è completata quando si raggiunge un valore
costante e il termometro emette quattro bip.
- E' possibile che continuando la misurazione dopo il bip, il valore
misurato salga ancora leggermente.
- Il termometro si spegne automaticamente dopo circa 10 minuti,
in ogni caso per prolungare la durata della batteria è consigliabile
spegnerlo dopo l'uso premendo il pulsante.
- Per cambiare la scala di misura (tra °C e °F) accendere il
termometro e tenere premuto il tasto di accensione per 2 secondi.
Metodi di misurazione
- Per le misurazioni nel retto, inserite delicatamente il sensore nel
retto. Non muovetevi fino al termine della misurazione. Il tempo
di misurazione va da circa 40 a 60 secondi.
- Per le misurazioni sotto l'ascella, prima di iniziare tenete il
braccio appoggiato al torace in modo che l'ascella resti chiusa,
per 5 minuti circa. Posizionate il sensore al centro dell'ascella in
una posizione stabile, non muovete il braccio fino al termine della
misurazione. La misurazione ascellare può essere inferiore di 0,5
°C - 1,5° C rispetto a quella rettale e il tempo di misurazione va
da circa 80 a 120 secondi.
- Per le misurazioni sotto la lingua, prima di iniziare non aprire la
bocca per 5 minuti circa. Posizionate il sensore sotto la lingua in
una posizione stabile, non aprire la bocca fino al termine della
misurazione. Non mangiare o bere prima della misurazione. In
genere la temperatura orale è di 0,3 °C a 0,8 °C inferiore rispetto
alla temperatura rettale. Il tempo di misurazione va da circa 50
a 70 secondi.
Disinfettate la sonda solo con alcol o disinfettanti
equivalenti, NON bollire il termometro! NON sterilizzare
in autoclave!
Non immergete il prodotto in acqua o liquidi!
Evitate l'esposizione diretta ai raggi solari e agli agenti
atmosferici. Non misurate temperature diverse da
quella corporea!
Sostituzione batteria
- La batteria deve essere sostituita quando sul display lampeggia
il simbolo oppure .
- Sfilate delicatamente il cappuccio posteriore e rimuovete la
vecchia batteria con l'aiuto di uno stuzzicadenti o un punteruolo.
- Inserite una nuova batteria da 1,5 V (LR/SR-41).
- Riposizionate il cappuccio posteriore
Non smontate il prodotto se non per le operazioni
necessarie al cambio batteria!
Non lasciare le batterie o il cappuccio posteriore alla
portata dei bambini!
Lo smaltimento del prodotto o della batteria deve
essere effettuato rispettando le norme vigenti nel
Vostro paese.

DIGITAL THERMOMETER
Carefully read the following instructions before use.
The digital thermometer is a device for body temperature
measurement suitable both for hospital and home use. Compared
to the traditional glass and mercury models, it offers the advantage
of simple reading, quick and accurate measurement¸ memory
and alarms, etc.
In particular it is safer for people and environment because of
the absence of mercury.
The thermometer has been calibrated by the manufacturer and
further calibrations are not necessary. For any doubt on the device
accuracy, please get in contact with your retailer.

Use
- Before use disinfect the probe or position a probe cover on
the tip.
- Press the power button, you will hear a bleep.
- After the initial control test the display will visualise the last
measurement made for 2 seconds.
- When the word "Lo" appears on the display and the letter °C or
°F starts to flash, measuring can begin.
- During measuring remain in the same place/position until
the end.
- The temperature measured will appear on the display.
- Measuring is completed when a constant value is reached and
the thermometer releases four beeps.
- It is possible that, continuing measuring after the beep, the value
measured still increases slightly.
- The thermometer turns off automatically after approximately
10 minutes, in any case to extend the duration of the battery
it is recommended to turn it off after use, pressing the button.
- To change the measuring scale (between °C and °F) turn on the
thermometer and keep the ignition key pressed for 2 seconds.
Methods of measuring
- For rectum measurements, insert the probe delicately in the
rectum. Do not move at the end of measuring. The measuring
time ranges from approximately 40 to 60 seconds.
- For measuring under the armpits, before starting keep your
arm resting on your thorax so that the armpit remains closed, for
approximately 5 minutes. Position the probe in the middle of the
armpit in a stable position, do not move the arm until measuring
has been completed. Armpit measuring may be less than 0,5 °C
- 1,5° C compared with rectal measurement, and the measuring
time ranges from approximately 80 to 120 seconds.
- For under-tongue measuring, before starting do not open your
mouth for approximately 5 minutes. Position the probe under your
tongue in a stable position, do not open your mouth until the end of
measuring. Do not eat or drink before measuring. In general oral
temperature is 0,3 °C to 0,8 °C less than the rectal temperature.
The measuring time ranges from approximately 50 to 70 seconds.
Disinfect the probe only with alcohol or similar, DO
NOT boil it! DO NOT sterilize in autoclave!
Do not dip it in water or liquids!
Avoid exposing the unit to direct sunlight or
atmospheric agents.
Do not measure except body temperature!
Battery replacement
- The battery must be replaced when the symbol
blinks on the display .
- Delicately withdraw the back cover and remove the old battery
by means of a toothpick or a needle tool.
- Insert the new 1,5 V battery (LR/SR-41).
- Replace the back cover
Do not disassemble the unit except for battery
replacement!
Do not leave the batteries or the back cover within
children's reach!
The product or battery disposal must be in compliance
with the standards in force in your country.
Comply with the laws in the country of use to properly
dispose of the product.

Leer con atención las siguientes instrucciones antes del uso.
El termómetro digital es un dispositivo para la medición de la
temperatura corpórea, indicado tanto para uso hospitalario
como familiar. Con respecto a los modelos tradicionales de vidrio
y mercurio, tiene las ventajas de una lectura fácil, una medición
veloz y esmerada, memorización, alarmas, etc.
En especial resulta más seguro para la persona y el
medioambiente al no tener mercurio.
El termómetro ha sido calibrado por el fabricante y no son
necesarios calibrados sucesivos. Para cualquier duda sobre la
precisión del instrumento contactar al revendedor.

Empleo
- Antes de cada uso desinfecte la sonda o coloque una cubierta
de la sonda en la punta.
- Pulse el botón de encendido, escuchará un pitido.
- Después del test de control inicial el visualizador muestra la
última medición realizada durante 2 segundos.
- Cuando en el visualizador aparece "Lo" y la letra °C o °F empieza
a parpadear es posible empezar la medición.
- Durante la medición hay que permanecer en el mismo lugar/
posición hasta el final.
- El visualizador muestra de forma continua la temperatura
medida.
- La medición se completa cuando se alcanza un valor constante
y el termómetro emite cuatro pitidos.
- Es posible que continuando la medición después del pitido, el
valor medido siga subiendo ligeramente.
- El termómetro se apaga automáticamente después de unos
10 minutos, en cualquier caso, para prolongar la duración de la
pila se aconseja apagarlo después del uso, pulsando el botón.
- Para cambiar la escala de medición (entre °C y °F) encienda el
termómetro y mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido durante
2 segundos.
Métodos de medición
- Para las mediciones rectales, inserte delicadamente el sensor
en el recto. No hay que moverse hasta el final de la medición. El
tiempo de medición es aproximadamente entre 40 y 60 segundos.
- Para las mediciones axilares, antes de empezar apoye el brazo
en el pecho de modo que la axila se mantenga cerrada, durante
unos 5 minutos. Coloque el sensor en el centro de la axila en una
posición estable, no mueva el brazo hasta el final de la medición.
La medición axilar puede ser inferior de 0,5 °C - 1,5° C con
respecto a la rectal y el tiempo de medición es aproximadamente
entre 80 y 120 segundos.
- Para las mediciones sublinguales, antes de empezar no abra
la boca durante 5 minutos aproximadamente. Coloque el sensor
debajo de la lengua en una posición estable, no abra la boca hasta
el final de la medición. No coma y no beba antes de la medición.
Generalmente la temperatura oral es de 0,3 °C a 0,8 °C inferior
con respecto a la temperatura rectal. El tiempo de medición es
aproximadamente entre 50 a 70 segundos.
¡Desinfectar la sonda solo con alcohol o desinfectantes
equivalentes, NO hervir el termómetro! ¡NO esterilizar
en autoclave!
¡No sumergir el producto en agua u líquidos!
Evitar la exposición directa a los rayos solares y a los
agentes atmosféricos.
¡No medir temperaturas diferentes de la corpórea!
Sustitución pila
- La pila ha de ser sustituida cando en el visor digital
destella el símbolo o .
- Extraer delicadamente el capuchón posterior y retirar la
pila vieja con la ayuda de un mondadientes o un punzón.
- Introducir una pila nueva de 1,5 V (LR/SR-41).
- Volver a colocar el capuchón posterior
¡No desmontar el producto si no para las operaciones
necesarias al cambio pila!
¡No dejar las pilas o el capuchón posterior al alcance
de los niños!
La eliminación del producto o de la pila se tiene que
efectuar respetando las normas vigentes en el país
donde se utiliza.
La eliminación del producto ha de realizarse según las
leyes vigentes en el país de utilización.
