3.7 FLIR A400f/A700f
When delivered, the camera is already mounted in an environmental housing.
The housing with the camera requires PoE class 4 (25 W) to operate as intended.
Connect the unit to power and the network:
1.
Connect a PoE cable (PoE class 4, 25 W) to the connector gland on the bot-
tom of the housing device. Use the strain-relief clamp that is delivered with
the camera.
2.
Connect the other end of the PoE cable to a PoE switch.
3.
Follow the steps in section 3.6.1 Quick start guide, starting at step 3.
3.8 FLIR A400pt/A700pt
When delivered, the camera is already mounted in a pan/tilt (P/T) unit. The mas-
ter selection mode is set to Camera Master, which means that the camera con-
trols the P/T.
Connect the unit to power and the network:
1.
Unscrew the two bolts in the cover to the base unit by using a 4 mm hex key.
2.
Pull a network cable and a power cable through either the parapet bracket or
the wall mount bracket.
3.
Pull both cables through the cable glands in the P/T base unit. Make sure
that the cable glands are closed tightly.
4.
Connect the network cable to the RJ45 port, and the power cable to the
power port. Make sure to connect the AC power cable correctly. After the ca-
bles are connected, close the hatch and then tighten the bolts.
5.
Connect the network cable to a computer or an Ethernet switch, and connect
the power cable to a power source.

Follow the steps in section 3.6.1 Quick start guide, starting at step 3.
