Radio controlled projection clock
3. Getting started
• The projection clock can be operated with 2 x 1,5 V AAA
batteries or with power adaptor. To use the projection func-
tion, please utilize a mains adapter.
• Insert the adapter into the jack. Connect the power adapter
to a wall socket. The unit is now ready to use.
• Important!
Make sure that your household voltage is 230V! Otherwise
your clock may be damaged.
• Insert batteries 2 x 1,5 V AAA into the battery compartment,
observing the correct polarity.
• The clock will scan the DCF frequency signal.
• The DCF symbol and the temperature appear on the LCD.
When the signal is received successfully after 3-5 minutes,
the radio controlled time and the DCF symbol appear per-
manently. The clock automatically scans the time signal
every hour to maintain accurate timing.
• In Daylight Saving Time "S" is shown on the LCD.
• If the reception fails, activate the reception manually by
holding UP and DOWN button at once for 3 seconds. A short
beep will sound.
• Hold UP and DOWN button for 3 seconds to stop scanning
DCF time signal (DCF reception symbol disappears). Hold UP
and DOWN button for 3 seconds again to reactivate scan-
ning DCF time signal.
• In case the clock cannot detect the DCF-signal (for example
due to disturbances, transmitting distance, etc.), the time
can be set manually.
• The clock will then work as a normal quartz clock. (see 4.1
Setting of time and calendar).
