PREPARING YOUR REFRIGERATOR FOR USE

UNPACKING YOUR REFRIGERATOR

1. Unpacking
Cut off the packing band, then pull the carton up.
Remove the exterior and interior packaging.
2. Make sure that all the parts listed below are included with your re f r i g e r a t o r:
• 1 ice tray
• 1 removable shelf
• 1 drip tray
3. Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
4. Find a location for your re f r i g e r a t o r that is protected from direct sunlight and other sources of
heat. Place the re f r i g e r a t o r on a level surface. Make sure that there is at least 5 inches (13cm) of
space between the back of your unit and the wall. Avoid locating the appliance in moist areas.
Too much m o i s t u re in the air will cause condensation to form, requiring more frequent defro s t i n g .
5 . Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging it in.
6. Repacking
Please remember to put the original foamed pads in place.
Be sure refrigerator stays in upright position during moving
Do not tilt more than 45 degrees.
Do not apply force on any external part such as pipe, condenser,
door and its handle for moving refrigerator.
Refrigerator must be well packed and secured in long distance transportation to
avoid damage from impact.

CONNECTING YOUR REFRIGERATOR

* Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock.
1. This unit should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this appliance is
equipped with a two-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to
minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
2. Plug your appliance into an exclusive, properly installed, grounded wall outlet. Any questions
concerning power and or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician.
3. This appliance requires a standard 220/230v~50Hz electrical outlet with two-prong ground.
