TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM
No sound is generated when entry system
call button is pressed and card slot doesn´t
light.
A call is generated from panel and is not
received at FERMAX DECT PHONE.
When electric lock is activated, system
goes down.
A few seconds after communication is
established, audio is disconnected.
Audio level is too low in both ways (phone-
panel, panel-phone).

SOLUTION
Check following steps:
1) power supply connections
2) call button making contact
a) Check that DECT phone is within
telephone base range.
b) Check that telephone base is close
enough to panel .
c) Check that panel and DECT phone are
activated in the telephone base.
Fit a VARISTOR directly across the
terminals of electric lock to avoid anomalous
behaviour.
Remember that there are two timings: 15
seconds if no DECT phone key is pressed
and 80 seconds every time any key is
pressed
Remember that audio level can be regulated
in both ways: DECT Phone - Outdoor Panel
(software and hardware) and Outdoor Panel
- DECT Phone (software only).
