ADVICES BEFORE INSTALLING

To obtain the optimal perfomance of the Telephonic Interface, and minimize external interferences (back-
ground noise, EM interferences, etc) it is recommended to follow these advices:
Where do I place the Interface?
Install the device as close as possible of the outdoor pannel and power supplies, choosing a place free of
moisture or dust, and protected from weather hazards.
Which power supply should I use?
Do not use the power supply of the door entry system.
The Telephonic Interface can be fed itself with AC (Ref.8980) or DC (Ref.8504) power supplies although it
is recommended (specially when there is a long lenght of wires in installation) to choose a DC power
supply.
Which way can I use to install the cables ?
The telephone pair and the door entry system cables carry audio signals which are sensitive to EM
interferences, therefore it is recommended to pass them apart from noise sources as motors, machines
and other power cables.
