Can I blend hot soup?
Blending hot soup will create a large amount of heat output. There is a cap on
the lid you need to take off to allow this heat to leave. Also the jug must not be
fully filled up. Only up to 50% at a go will ensure soup does not come out of
the jug. With regular use you will find out what level is best to fill the jug as it
really depends on the content you blend.
* Blending hot soup? Please read the next section.
Warning: please follow below instructions strictly for blending hot soup!
-
the max. capacity must be less than 50% (max. 0.9L).
-
the temperature of hot soup must be less than 60℃.
-
take off the lid (part 1) before blending.
What can I do to take care of the jug?
We do not recommend washing a jug immediately after blending hot soup.
It's a chemical reaction between hot glass and cold water which will crack, or
sometimes even break the glass. This will happen to any glass jug, so please
let your jug cool down before attempting to wash it.
When storing the jug away after use, allow the jug to completely dry up before
storing away for future use, This is essential to maintain the blade. Leaving
water inside the jug may build up rust on the blade which may damage the
blade in the future. We advise storing the jug away with the lid separated as
leaving the lid on will trap moisture and will leave your jug with a slight odour
of the food which you blended.
