Installation
The double-bass bridge DB-1 is fitted and installed on
the instrument in the same way as a conventional
bridge without an integrated sound transmission sys-
tem. If you do not possess the necessary tools and spe-
cialist knowledge, we recommend you have the bridge
installed by your violin-maker in the usual way. Care
must simply be taken that the lead is not kinked or dam-
aged. In addition, the slots for the strings should on no
account extend past the marked line, otherwise the
sound transmitting system will be damaged.
The bridge has adequate material in reserve so that it
can be adapted for all the usual string arrangements.
