NOTE: The inner body access hole is slightly behind
the grommet access hole (2), and has insulation in­
side the vehicle covering the hole. The kit BCM wiring
harness (1) can be pushed past the forward edge of
the insulation and into the passenger compartment.
37. Reach in the grommet access hole (2) and feed the
loose wires of the kit BCM harness (1) through the in­
ner body access hole (not shown, inside grommet ac­
cess hole (2)) for connecting to the BCM connectors
inside the vehicle.
38. Forward of the BCM bracket (2), locate the kit BCM/
fog lamps harness wires (1) and pull through enough
to insert into the BCM connectors.
NOTE: The connector covers can be installed on the
wrong connector and the covers are keyed to be used
only in the correct module receptacles. Only disas­
semble one connector at a time to avoid confusion
when installing the connector/connector covers.
39. For both connectors A and D, using trim stick C­4755
or equivalent, carefully insert between connector
cover latch (2) and the lock tab (3) to release, and
slide the connector housing (1) off the connector.
