sis toward the centre and then slowly raise the chinrest to the required neutral
position (Fig. 10) so that the patient's chin rests on the foam padding.
6. Release the buttons to lock in position once the correct angle is found. Please
make sure that the adjusted height is the same on each side (Fig. 6) and locked in
position properly.
7. If the orthosis has been fitted properly, it should no longer be possible for the
chin to slip.
Taking off the orthosis:
Loosen one of the Velcro straps on the left- and right-hand sides, then remove the
orthosis.
Care
• Do not use any cleaning agents, conditioners or aggressive products
(containing chlorine).
• Remove the pads from the orthosis before washing.
• Wash the pads by hand with water and mild soap, then wring out.
• Squeeze the water out of the pads and dry away from any heat sources.
• All plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
