Your square dish comes with a bracket. Before fixing it to the wall, you should ensure
that there will be no obstacles between the square dish and the South. To mount the
square dish, follow these steps:
Pivot the LNB so that the outlet (F socket) faces the ground. The LNB can be
moved back and forth. You should place it in the middle.
Connect the cable supplied from the satellite receiver to the square dish.
Fix the square dish and temporarily elevate it to 25° whilst directing it towards the
South (fig 1).
Switch on the satellite receiver and pick a channel from a satellite that you know
you can receive.
Keep an eye on the TV screen at the same time as you pivot the square dish
around the mast or the bracket of 45° to the right and to the left. At this stage, it
is normal not to pick up any channels (we suggest you ask someone to check the
TV whilst you adjust the square dish)
Elevate the square dish of 2° and pivot it again from the right to left, as explained
above.
Start again (2° at a time) until you receive an image on your screen. You should
be patient as in some regions, it may take up to 15 times to pick up channels.
Adjust the square dish so the image quality is at its best or the signal on your
satellite receiver (quality signal) is at full strength.
Tighten the screws as equally as possible to avoid degrading the quality of the
image received.
LNB (by rotating it) in order to optimise the quality of reception (fig 2).
