COMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY

Compressed air is required for plasma cutting. Ensure there is a supply of dry and oil-free
compressed air:
Air pressure: 5 – 6 bar
Flow: up to 330 l/min.
CAUTION!
The device will not work if the input pressure is less than 3.5 bar.
From 4.0 bar upwards, the digital display shows the pressure value so that the operator can
adjust it correspondingly.
WARNING!
The input pressure should never be set at more than 8 bar as this can lead to the torch
overheating and being damaged.
AUTOMATIC EMPTYING
The presence of oil and condensation can lead to problems and must be avoided.
The machine is equipped with a compressed air filter. The collected steam can be automat-
ically be discharged. To do this, disconnect the compressed air supply from the machine.
CONNECTING THE EARTH CABLE
Connect the plug to the designated jack on the device.
Connect the clamp of the earth cable to the workpiece, as close as possible to be place to
be cut, but do not connect it to the part of the workpiece to be cut off.
The surface must be free of oil, paint, and dust. Make sure that a good electrical contact
has been made, especially if you are cutting insulated or oxidised workpieces.
CONNECTING THE CUTTING TORCH
Ensure that the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
Make sure that the arrow on the torch and that on the machine connection are pointing
towards each other.
Now push the torch into the machine connection and rotate it clockwise until the retaining
ring on the torch connection clicks into place.
