Important information about the batteries
•
If the LED does not light up or lights up continuously, make sure that the
battery is inserted correctly and fully seated, if necessary start again
from the beginning. Do not insert the batteries backwards as this may
permanently damage the outdoor sensor.
•
We recommend lithium batteries for cold weather conditions, but alkaline
batteries are sufficient for most climates. Rechargeable batteries have a
lower voltage and should never be used.
Mount outdoor sensor
Before proceeding with the outdoor installation described in this section,
make sure that the base station can receive the data from the outdoor sensor
while keeping the mounted outdoor sensor package close (preferably not
closer than 1.5 m from the console). This facilitates troubleshooting and avoids
distance and interference-related problems with the setup.
After the setup is complete and everything is working, return to this point
for outdoor installation. If problems arise after outdoor installation, they are
almost certainly related to distance, obstacles, etc.
The mounting arrangement includes two U-bolts and a bracket that is
tightened around a rod (not included) with the four U-bolt nuts.
