connection to load
The power inverter is equipped with a standard mains socket. Plug the cord from the
equipment you wish to operate into the mains socket. Make sure that the load requirement
of your equipment does not exceed 100 watts.
The appliance is engineered to be connected directly to standard electrical and electronic
equipment in the manner described above. Do not connect the inverter to household ac
wiring. Do not connect the inverter to any ac load circuit in which the neutral conductor is
connected to ground (earth) or to the negative of the dc (battery) source.
HInts for optIMuM use
For best operating results, the inverter should be placed on a flat and/or solid surface. The
inverter should only be used in locations that meet the following criteria:
DRY –
Do not allow water or other liquids to come into contact with the inverter.
cOOL –
The surrounding air temperature should be between 5°C and 40°C. Ideally
between 15°C and 25°C. Keep the inverter away from direct sunlight, when possible.
WELL VENtILAtED –
Keep the area surrounding the inverter clear to ensure free air
circulation. Do not place items on or over the inverter during operation. The inverter will
shut down if the internal temperature gets too hot. Refer to the Protective features section
of this instruction manual for more information.
SAFE –
Do not use the inverter near flammable materials or in any location that may
accumulate flammable fumes or gases. This is an electrical appliance that can briefly
spark when electrical connections are made or broken.

If the inverter on/off button has been pressed to turn the unit on, but there is no ac or
USB power output and the power/fault LED is not lit:
• Press the on/off button to turn the unit off.
• Check that the tightness of the dc connections.
• Check the fuse in the dc vehicle power cord plug.
If the inverter on/off button has been pressed to turn the unit on, but there is no ac or
USB power output and the power/fault LED lights red, then one of the following conditions
has occurred:
• Low battery voltage.
• Over voltage.
• Short circuit.

• Overload.
• Over temperature.
Press the on/off button to turn the inverter off, correct the fault and then press the on/off
button again to turn the inverter back on.
MaIntenance
From time to time wipe the outside casing of the inverter with a damp cloth. Do not use
any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner. Do not immerse the inverter in water.
WARNING:
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning on the inverter, disconnect
it from any power source.
replacing the fuse in the dc vehicle power cord plug
• Remove the gold cap by turning it counter clockwise.
• Remove the centre pin and the spring.
• Remove the fuse.
• Fit a new fuse of the same type and size (12A/250V).
• Install the centre pin and spring.
• Install the gold cap by turning clockwise onto the plug. Do not overtighten.
