INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
· Make sure that all components of the raclette are properly assembled, place the
appliance on a dry, flat surface and and plug in.
· Press the switch on the front near the thermostat . The power light will come on.
· Set the thermostat by turning it to the desired cooking temperature
· Before using the appliance pre-heat for 5-8 minutes without any food on top.
CAUTION: FOR FIRST USE PRE-HEAT FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES. DURING THE
HEATING PROCESS THERE MAY BE A TYPICAL GRILL SMELL. THE RACLETTE MAY
ISSUE A BAD SMELL TYPICAL OF THE GRILL. THIS IS NORMAL AND NOT A SIGN OF
MALFUNCTIONING.
· Place the food you want to cook on the marble cooking surface or on the aluminum grid
using the special utensils to avoid risk of burns.
· To avoid damaging the non-stick coating use nylon or Teflon utensils to place, move or
remove the food being cooked.
· The stone can be used for cooking vegetables, meat, fish fillets and other foods. It
is a natural material and as such can become darker or have small veins due to
overheating. This is entirely normal and does not have any harmful effect. Place the
baking stone in the aluminum support with the polished side facing upwards. Do not
use the raclette grill without having first put the bakingstone in place.
· It is not recommended to cook frozen foods or those containing vinegar (eg pickles or
mustard) on the stone.The grill plate is reversible.
· Place the cheese to melt, the food to brown or the fruit to caramelize in the dishes and
place them on the reflective surface under the heating element. Leave until melted.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUT EMPTY DISHES UNDER THE HEATING ELEMENT.
