Instructions for use
After completion of the surgical procedure
Reusable instruments must be correctly prepared. Follow the enclosed instructions for
reprocessing.
If the instruments can not be used anymore, they must be disposed of in accordance
with the relevant applicable hospital and administrative guidelines and in accordance
with the relevant applicable legal regulations.
Disassembly and assembly
To disassemble the instrument, unscrew the clamping grip and remove it from the
instrument. Release the screw cap with a rotary movement and remove the rubber
seal. Now slide the exposed pull rod into the tube. The stone extraction basket with
the pulling cable can now be withdrawn from the distal end of the tube.
Take adequate precautions to prevent contamination during disassembly.
To assemble after reprocessing, slide the pulling cable into the distal end of the tube
until the pull rod emerges from the proximal end. Place the rubber seal and the screw
cap on the pulling rod. Fix the clamping grip onto the proximal end of the instrument,
making contact with the screw cap. During this step the stone extraction basket is
extended. Then fix the screw cap with a rotary movement as shown in Figure 2.
